Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica is a 5% IPA that hits harder then Dwight on a sales call. Brewed with Amarillo, Centennial and Cascade hops, it bursts with bright citrus, pine and floral notes. Crisp, clean and dangerously drinkable, this beer proves one thing -- perfection isn't fiction, it's on tap.

DATE: May 16, 2026... OCCASION: having just watched more of Company Retreat, I feel this beer is especially fitting... GLASSWARE: nondescript pint... pours a hazy golden yellow body that makes shadows of the fingers on the other side of the glass... its head is a monstrous white thickness, lacing the glass with attractive coral as it slowly settles... bright citrus--lemon, orange, grapefruit--are rich and singular, with little in the way of maltiness to balance... lilac, honey, and garden herbs offer some nuance.... lively, effervescent, and crisp--it is sharp and slightly bitter at the teeth, bubbly through the mouth, and finishes with some substance...which, at 5% ABV, is impressive...slightly astringent as the glass drains... citric bitterness at once, as the aroma promised, with lemon zest, orange, and grapefruit forming a fruity cocktail... juicy and laced with pine, this has some big flavor--which it needs if it is going to be named for an immortal Office line...I would enjoy this again...it's an IPA that eschews balance for a hop burst....

Can to snifter.

LK: Pale straw yellow color. Medium white head, foamy, ok retention.
AR: pine, floral.
TA: some lemony citrus, grass, earth, a little soapy.
FL: light to medium body, good crisp carbonation.

Enjoyable, but nothing special.
