330 ml bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 7.5%. Nearly black colour, moderate to small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, sour fruits / berries and moderate lactic acid. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, the acidity is moderate. Very moderate hops. IPA? Nothing IPA-like here. Still a nice and refreshing beer to drink.

Chocolate brown that legs under linen froth that goes quick. 3.75
Cola, ash, greenery, and slight vinegar. 4
Carob, a bit tart punch, some raisins + chocolate, slight char, hints of orange, resin, and herb. 4
Light, clean, fizzy. 3.75
Sour black IPA, 7.5%
Genuinely intriguing. Interesting nose, which doesn’t warn you how the sour hits first, and hard. But then stout notes wrestle with speckled of hop freshness. In gulps, however, it’s just tart cocoa, and it’s thin for the strength. Something different. 4
