Absolutely bonkers phenomenal. An expensive bottle but would have bought more if I’d known this was the level I was working with. Super concentrated and focused dark fruit, raisin and burnt sugar flavor and a wallop of oxidized port Wine character. Hints of tannic dryness and mild Pinot notes but sweeter; takes my favorite elements of the best barleywines and bundles it with a formidable stout. Definitely for those who favor the dark fruit and boozy notes over the roast and bittersweet cocoa, which are there but muted and well in the background. Medium full body and inky in appearance. Minimal legs.

An astonishingly great stout, not all that dissimilar to the BCBS that just came out but taking things to the next level
in terms of depth of flavor, quality, and concentrated intense flavors. Don’t hesitate if you find a bottle.
