Pours very dark brown, tan head. Good head retention. Very nice caramel and chocolatey aroma. Taste is similar, but not too sweet. A bit nutty too, a little earthy herbal finish. Fuller bodied, very smooth. Overall I really liked this one.

Pours clear, reddish-brown with a good beige head.
Attractive, malty aroma.
Flavor: loads of sweet malts and strong notes of chocolate. Perhaps a touch too sweet but easy drinking with partially hidden alcohol.
Overall: a fine example of the style.
