350 ml bottle in Santiago Chile.
Pours clear, dark reddish-brown with a weak, rather fizzy beige head.
Attractive, malty aroma.
Flavor: loads of sweet malts and notes of caramel and chocolate. Too sweet and lacks harmony but fairly easy drinking.
Overall: go for their dopplebock instead; it is a better beer and has more pronounced chocolate notes.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a dark brown that is almost black and lets no light through at all. It has a small mocha colored head that fades away quickly.
S: Chocolate milk, tootsie rolls, and sweet milk chocolate are the backbone of the aroma. It smells very nice and inviting. A bit of roasted malts come through as well.
T: The taste is almost an exact representation of the aroma. Chocolate milk, tootsie rolls, and sweet milk chocolate are the main players. It is definitely very sweet and it could be offputting to some, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
M: It has a medium body, and is carbonated on the high side. It has a somewhat watery feel to it.
O: This is a nice tasting sweet bock. It was an awesome explosion of various chocolatey aspects. Definitely recommended for those in search of a sweet chocolate bock.

Pour - a bit soda like. This actually reminds a lot of the way a cold can of Pepsi looks when you pour it into a glass. What little bubbly head there was is quick to go away. Looks pretty carbonated.
Aroma - this smells like a Fudgsicle. I kid you not. Lots of sweet chocolate and Tootsie Roll smells come shooting out from the glass. Absolutely the most chocolate aroma I've ever smelled from a glass of beer. Hmmm, this could go in several different directions, I shall hope for the best.
Taste - again, the Tootsie Rolls and Fudgsicles invade my senses. I feel like someone melted them all into a glass of decent lager and told me to drink it. This is actually pretty smooth despite the carbonation levels and it has some backbone providing a decent body to this very sweet brew.
Overall - very interesting. Not a beer I'd drink more than one of and I actually split this one in half and it was plenty. If you like chocolate beers this one is for you.
Would I buy more of it? - I will go with no.
Note - Volcanes del Sur beers are produced in the town of Osorno, Chile. This is located in Region X and the town itself sits within site of Volcán Osorno, an active volcano that last erupted in 1869. Chile is home to 36 active volcanoes, the 5th most in the world.
