Dark amber color with beige head. Aroma has caramel malts, dank hops and diacetyl. Taste has also a butterscotch flavor along with some hop bitterness in the finish. Medium, soft body with good carbonation. Has some good parts but also some big flaws.

French IPA using only Amarillo hops.
The smell is fruity but the taste is too malty. Not quite like a classic american IPA. Not one of the best IPA I ever tried but not too bad either!

Purchased in Alsace at the grocery store. The hop aroma and quality is a lot fresher than I expected. Malt character verging towards brown ale in character. I like this better than most American craft beers, although I have to admit I'm no Amarillo expert. Really enjoy the single hop idea. Good fall beer, clean. Depth although maybe a bit lacking in breadth.
