Deep brown color where light passes through the edge. The head completely fades leaving no lacing whatsoever.
Dry, black coffee aroma. Mild medicinal nose far back.
The flavor mimics the smell in every way. Black coffee is the dominate flavor. No chalkiness. The body is thin (surprising, because this is the oatmeal version) but appropriate for an Irish Stout. The carbonation is low. The aftertaste is short as the aforementioned flavors fade.
