Made with Australian ale and wheat malt, this beer pours with a light golden colour and fluffy white head. Unfiltered, the appearance is slightly hazy and has whiffs of stone fruit and light malt on the nose. Brewed with a new Australian hop variety called Topaz, the beer is light and appealing, made for when you want to have a couple of light easy beers to drink on a Friday night.

The rocks golden ale is decent....it poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a slight lace. The scent carried some bitter hops. The taste was evenly balanced. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's quite nice.

Pours amber with a fading head.
Nose shows spicy hops and sweet grainy malt.
Some grainy malt as a flavour too along with some spicy and grassy hops. Some malt sweetness.

Pours a golden colour, with a small head. Head stays a while. Lacing moderate
Hop-driven nose - a mate suggested Sorachi Ace?
Taste is light and almost sour to begin with. Malts and stonefruit/peach then kick in to dominate the mid palate
Mouthfeel is light and good for a session.
Overall, an interesting ale, no real comparisons come to mind.
As with all Rocks ales I have tried, well suited to sessioning. A real beer drinkers beer, rather than one to sit and discuss the merits of all night. Good stuff. Sum is greater than the parts.

Pours a very hazy pale yellow colour with minimal white head. Slow carbonation and not a lot of lace. Bit too much haze for my liking but pretty decent.
Smells pretty decent, but very subdued. Subtle hints of banana, pawpaw and maybe some citrus rind. Slight vanilla on the malt; otherwise not much else. Could use more.
Taste is pleasant; very fruity. Lots of pink lady apple aroma with hints of pear and banana as well. Some nice malty notes, quite sweet and pleasant. Hops come through quite early, noticeably bitter with lots of fruity notes, rind and flesh alike. Good and long finish with soft bitterness that lingers nicely in a clean, bitter way. Yeah, very pleasant, smooth palate to this.
A little bit thin on the feel with a noticeable sizzle from the bubbles as a result. Not my favourite kind of texture but not out & out bad.
Very pleasant sesssionable beer. Light and sweet-ish but a good long bitter finish.

Light, tropical fruit aroma from what appear to be Galaxy hops. Nice.
Hazy, gold colour with a small, off-white head. Good.
A light, smooth malt flavour with a mild fruity hop character. Moderate bitterness. Not quite in balance. Harsh bitterness.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. Good.
A light, crisp, refreshing beer. It's good but would be improved with a less harsh bittering hop.

Pale, hazy, light golden colour with a good thick head of white fine bubbles. Lots of small carbonation throughout feeds the head, which stays strong throughout. Looks very nice.
Grainy nose, with a hint of slightly earthy hops. Bit of sweetness and sweat. Not a huge nose, but it's refreshingly pleasant.
Palate is clear and drinkable and again very pleasant. Clean bitterness on the back resonates through almost to harshness, but the cleansing nature helps save it. Mouthfeel smooth to start with and crisp with carbonation later.
Very nice beer; drinkable and clean. Not a huge amount of raw character, but it makes a very sessionable ale.
