I had a 330ml bottle.
Appearance : golden colour, nice head and presents well.
Aroma: nice citrus and tropical fruit hops.
Flavour: great citrus hop flavours upfront and good stringent bitterness on the finish. A credible pale ale.
Overall : a very good pale ale. Great balance of hop armoma, flavours and bitterness. Worth a try.

The Hangman pale ale is a workman like pale ale....no over the top thrills...but decent enough to know your outside the standard macros. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent has mild fruit presence and bitter hop. The taste followed suit. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's good.

Rather plain but enjoyable pale ale. Unmistakeable hop aroma and taste, but not overpowering (i.e. NOT an IPA). One of the most flavorful beers I tried while in Australia (as compared to the more bland Hahn or number of Summer Ales available). A definite must try for anyone looking for something more flavorful.

hangman is a great pale ale, a nice aussie take on the american type. this one is honey colored with a beautiful and lasting sticky white head on it over an inch tall and leaving ring lacing as i sip it down. the hops are balanced by a nice fresh grain profile of pale malt and a little 40 or 50 crystal, but the hops are the stars. not sure which varietals are used, but it has a very high alpha cascade type profile thats at once grassy and citrusy, with a overriding tangerine element that really brightens this up. i really like how light and clean this is, having spent a few years down under, i can say that if this were available to me then, it would have been a staple in my fridge. its so well made, super light, and full of flavor thats just a little different than what we brew here in the states. i think the hops are just distinct enough, but the beer stays real refreshing, real well carbonated yet smooth, and the low alcohol helps it be a session brew under the hot sun. fun stuff, remarkably well done, wish i could get my hands on some more of their stuff, but scoring this bottle was a stroke of luck and the work of a close friend. would love to go back and visit this place!

Pours dark amber with a small head.
Nose shows sweet malt, orange marmalade and spicy and earthy hops. Simple but quite nice.
Hoppier flavours, more spicy but also soft floral notes and a hint of grapefruit. Sweet malt underneath gives a biscuity and orange marmalade character.
Carbonation is too high.
More English than APA.

Bottle. Had this many times on draught but never reviewed it.
Brilliantly clear stained glass orange with a modest, slightly off-white head. Retention is so-so, falling to a slightly raised ring and film.
Nice amounts of candied mandarin, pineapple, mango and lifted grass over a restrained malt and slight grainy backnote. Clean with good clarity.
The tropical and citrus character doesn't play out so well, due to the bitterness which muscles in and, in combination with the grainy note results in a borderline metallic character.
Light body with pretty aggressive sizzly carbonation. Earthy bitterness lingers for quite some time.
Solid Pale Ale which is slightly better from the keg in my view.
