Pours a pale, cloudy orange-amber colour, opaque really with bubbly white head on top, and visible line of bead up the sides. Bit cloudy for the style, but good otherwise.

Smell is very hoppy. Citric, piney and resinous. Really nice spicy note to it, smells very fresh and like it's full of native propagated vegetation. Steamed greens, pepper and lemongrass on there. Really lovely.

Taste has that undercurrent of native bush - eucalyptus with black wattle, bush pepper and sprigs of thyme. Nice caramel malt gets slightly too sweet towards the back, but there's shitloads of hops waiting there to head it off. Spicy, very resinous, but it's a very pleasant note overall, and an interesting take on the IPA.

Fairly smooth feel, with a bit of texture. Dries up quite a bit at the back, but it's a nice feel for the style.

Great IPA - a bit odd, but still very drinkable and tasty.

On-tap at Harts Pub for the Sydney Craft Beer Week Brewer's Feast.

Pours a very cloudy, very light yellow colour, with a fine white head. Patchy lace forms, rather pleasantly overall. I love the haze and the brightness of colour. Very decent.

Nose is sharp, and slightly peppery, with big zest grapefruit characters. Citric notes are dominant, but the sharpness is pleasant, and gives it an exciting edge.

Taste is also great, with characters of pepper, lavender and something sightly earthy. It also has a clean, leavened greenness. Clear, but robust bitterness on the back accentuates the brightness. Very nice and slightly different.

Really nice brew, and the best beer I tried on the day. Probably the best Rocks Brewing beer I've yet tried.
