Pours a shiny golden colour, clear with steady bead. Head is off-white, modest bubbles, thin crown. Not bad, not exciting.

Smell is fairly adjuncty with corn notes floating on top of a mild caramel character. Hint of grassy hops at the back. Not bad, enjoyable enough for what's there.

Taste is quite sweet and roundly fruity, with some ale esters giving cidery pink lady notes, orange flesh and some banana late. Corn and barley notes float above it all, and it all ends with a slightly sour yeasty note. Not bad overall but a bit bready and a bit like unfermented wört.

Sizzly carbonation on an underwhelming body. Bit meh.

As a cream ale, it's not bad. But it just begs the question why brew a cream ale.
