I get it that it's no easy thing to make a decent pils. So if the beer you're making is nowhere close to the genuine article, maybe focus your efforts elsewhere? On tap at the George's Corner today in St. George.
The beer pours a bright gold color with fairly decent head retention and light lacing. The best I can say about this pils is that it looks OK. On the nose, there's not much going on. I get some light honey and cookie dough, and maybe a hint of white pepper. At least there are no off flavors in the nose. The flavor profile is more of the same, but I'm puzzled by the amount of sweetness I'm getting in this beer. There's something of a sweet corn flavor, along with the components I'm picking up on the nose. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and a bit slick, with a moderately long finish. There's at most a hint of bitterness on the finish. Again, other than the surprising sweetness, there are no off flavors in this beer. Alcohol is unnoticeable, and seemed well integrated into the flavor profile.
Obviously, this is not a very good pils, but it isn't undrinkable. So at least there's that.

i am surprised to see this so poorly rated on here. i know context can be everything sometimes, and it probably was for me too here, after an awesome day of boarding at powder mountain, this was my first beer at the lodge, accompanied by wings, live jammy music, and good friends and family, so naturally this was going to be pretty good, but i think its an objectively pretty solid brew, not just enjoyable because of the situation. sure it might be a little fuller bodied than most, and not quite as light and crisp and we generally look for in the style, but i dont mind the heft, especially in the wintertime, and its still plenty dry, so drinkability isnt really compromised at all for me. the hop profile is really minimal, the lightest finishing bitter note is all, and the lager yeast doesnt have a ton of flavor, but its a simple and clean malt bill that showcases an appealing freshness, and the mineral profile in the water or something gives it some character and keeps it from being boring. i found this refreshing, poundable, and just right with some chicken wings. its been awhile since i had any beer from moab, this one is better than its ratings here...

When you live in Utah your local beer selections are limited. But this is by far my favorite local Utah beer. I've only been able to have it twice because Moab doesn't bottle it :/ but I will always make sure to stop down at their brewery in Moab whenever I visit to enjoy this beer. It's incredibly refreshing after a long day hiking and biking. If you are a fan of Pilsener's you should enjoy this.

Sitting in Salt Lake City waiting on a flight! Decided to try this beer since it had no ratings and the ABV was not shown on BA. Wait staff told me all beers on draft are 4%ABV; mystery solved! So on to rating:
A - very light golden color, little to no carbonation with a nice head
S - light malts, no hops detected
T - yep, tastes like a pilsner. Slight bitterness on back end
F - easy on the palate, nice fullness
