Our steamer beer is a unique 100% style lager. Brewed with a special strain of lager yeast that works better at warmer temperatures. This method dates back to the late 1800s, when refrigeration was a greater luxury. Amber in color, medium bodied with a malty character. Mildly fruity with an assertive hop bitterness and a crisp clean finish.

A touch darker amber than I'd expect, it's got a bubbly off-white head that settles to a weirdly spongy ring.
This one's maltier than I'd expect, more like an amber ale, with light grahams and a touch of toast over a floral bite
A firm carbonation fills the medium body that comes to a powder dry finish, after which an unexpected hint of coffee crops up.

Tall boy can. Pours out a hazy copper with abundant fluffy head, some clumpy lacing. Nose is all grains with a hint of citrus. Grains and malt dominate the taste, very much bread, crackers and biscuits, slightly dry and chalky at the finish. All the best from a lager, plus some heft.

A genre defying beer that we could see being a combination of an amber, and something more related to what is described on the can. Undeniably smooth, Rocket Bike would go well after a hard bike ride, where you want to be challenged a little, and have something to quench your thirst.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that did not leave any lace. The scent had subtle grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with biscuit flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was an ok beer.

One of the earlier breweries to put their offerings into cans. This pours a dark golden yellow to light amber in a seemingly familiar appearance contrasted with the originator Anchor Steam. Appearance is solid, head is 1/2" on the top and has above average retention.
Aroma hits the toasted malt notes, doesn't really reveal too much in the way of a lager or fruity lager steam kind of beer yeast, more like a familiar AAL type of lager yeast. Nothing in terms of corn, seems all barley.
Taste is pretty normal. Like a bulked up macro lager in the malt department, but otherwise, the lager yeast and high carbonation seem pretty traditional at this point in time. Its a decent beer, but impossible to get drunk off of without any wow power that a low abv beer would need to drink more than one of.

Interesting little beer. Aroma is cool, toasty and a touch smoky. Flavors follow the nose. Theres caramel, some dank, with a hit of smoke and lime. I'd recommend you try it, as I've never had a lager quite like this except for maybe a Vienna.

Deep copper to amber in color with a quarter inch head of creamy beige head. The aroma is of chestnuts and caramel. I'm tasting light flavors of chestnut, caramel, and just a hint of smoke. The mouth is light, smooth, and crisp.

Can poured into a glass; modest carbonation and nice head. Clear Amber color, light on the palate with subtle malts. A descent beer but not really one to rave about
