A 10 oz serving at the brewpub.
A: The APWA is a light straw color, clear as day. A small head arrived with the ale but isn't a feature, so I won't dwell on it.
S: The nose is hoppy, like a long lost memory from another nearby pub. There is enough tart wheat that you don't always dwell on the bite.
T: The hoppiness is evident from the start. There is, though, ample wheat presence to calm things down. The wheat is mildly tart up front, enough to remind you that it is there. The hops, citrusy and stronger than the wheat, are quick to take over after that. The ale is a nice balance, bitter but approachable. Don't like the word 'Light' in the title fool you.
M: The mouthfeel take a bit of time go get going. When cold, the flavors are bland. Warmer, the hops stand out with greater precision.
D: At 5%, the most drinkable ale in the line-up. Zesty and sweet, a nice combo.
