Tap pour at the West Fargo JL Beers. Served chilled in a nonic glass.
Black colored body. Creamy light tan head. Leaves behind a lacing film.
Aroma is faint with roasted malts, including oats.
Taste follows the nose with the tang of roasted oats, and a little sweetness. Touch of coconut. Slow fade in the aftertaste.
Slightly more than medium mouthfeel. Creamy and smooth texture. Very minor bitter bite. Very good carbonation.
Unremarkable but fits for style.
