My first exposure to the chain. I came at lunch on Friday and it busy with mostly a business crowd. You have a transparent view of the brewing which is neat--but the open concept set-up makes for a very sterile, public experience
The food was Applebee's/Outback quality. I'm told the thin-crust pizzas are quite good.
I tried the brown ale and the double belgian. They were both above average but pricy for the 330cl serving size.
Service was polite and efficient (French only) although she messed up my beer order.
It was pleasant, probably a decent gateway experience for the micro-curious but less than perfect for a demanding enthusiast.

Laval...where to start...Laval is New Jersey to Montreal's New York. The accent differs, but the souped-up cars, hairstyles and attitude are eerily similar. I like to poke fun because I'm a surburban survivor!
Laval never really had a downtown core to speak of, more like clusters of shopping malls, box stores and chain restaurants, so centropolis is a centrallized mega complex...of shopping malls, box stores and chain restaurants! So what better place to have a 3 Brasseurs?
The place is everything a suburbanite would love about a brewpub, it's huge, spiffy and trendy, with plenty of parking. Nice central island bar, lots of wood, copper and fake breweriana, very similar to the other members of the chain. The actual brewery section looks way bigger than the other pubs however, spanning over two floors, compared to what amounts to a storage closet at the pubs downtown.
My coworkers and I took seats at the bar, and looked over the menu consisting of the cookie-cutter Blonde, Rousse, Blanche and Brune, but mentionned to ask about seasonals. So we did, and our waitress had to go ask around to see what it was. So we didn't bother asking too much info about the Beers in general. Turns out the rotating brew was an IPA, so we all ordered a pint. It took a while to get it, which was strange as it was early and not too many clients were present. But she gets passing grade as she was quite friendly.
The Beer was a bit sub-par, you could tell fermentation/maturing was rushed as it tasted a little too 'green', but lacked the actual 'green' of hops we were looking for.
Food menu was the same as the rest of the chain, pub fare featuring those Alsace-style pizzas.
If you've been to the other pubs, you'll just get more of the same here. I'll only be back because it's close to work.
