Had a pint on cask while having lunch with Da Boss today for $5.00.
Beer was served black with a nice tan head that left some lacing behind.
Nose was light roasted malts, dark chocolate, and hints of sweetness.
Taste is very flavorful for a small beer. Light roasted malts with oats in the mash and dark chocolate combine for an enjoyable sipping experience.
This was on cask but the lack of carbonation could not hide how small this beer is as this was very thin and was noticeable with each sip.
Overall a delicious session beer that could stand to have that malt bill increased to make it more satisfying.
