Classic example of Italian Pils style.
Not being a style in its own right, I put it in this category.
In reality, for its organoleptic qualities, it is easily perceived (already on the nose) from a "Classic German Pils", belonging to the historical style.
On the nose, hints ofalt dominated by the herbaceous Saaz hops, evidently used in greater quantities than in the classic style.
Straw yellow color.
Abundant and soft foam hat.
In the mouth classic hints of bread crust and honeyed reflections, before the hops take over, "drying" the beer more clearly than in a German Pils. It goes without saying that the sensation it leaves is of a more astringent bitterness than that of the classical canons.
The body is very close to that of a German Pils, even the carbonation is in keeping with the classic style, but the use (or overuse) of hops certainly differs from the starting point, so I personally find no other way to define it than as "classic Italian Pils style".
