Brewed in collaboration with Liquor Barn.
Liquor Barn's single barrel program is nothing short of spectacular. We were lucky enough to join them at one of Kentucky's finest distilleries to hand pick several barrels of bourbon. Once all the whiskey was emptied and bottled these barrels found their way to our brewery where we filled them with this Imperial Brown Ale. The result is a rich, malty brew with notes of caramel, vanilla, toffee, and oak.

22 ounce bottle, no dating on it that I noticed. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about a half inch light tan head that didn't stay around for very long. There's also a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bourbon, vanilla, caramel, and chocolate. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, with bourbon, vanilla, toffee, caramel, nutty and cocoa flavors all noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, definitely worth a try! $9.99 a bomber.
