12 ounce can, no dating on it that I noticed. Thanks to my buddy Denis for this one! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a somewhat clear dark brown color with about a half inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both OK. The brew smells like bittersweet chocolate, caramel, dark fruit and breadiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also the addition of a slight ashy flavor too. Hint of sweetness in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating and is easy enough to drink. Moderate carbonation. I do think this is better on-tap, but the canned version isn't bad either. Worth a try.
