Added by the person who sent it to me, this marks the first in a run-through of beers that came to me CANtesy of @jkblr for inCANsion in The CANQuest (tm).
From the CAN: "2020 Lynn Family Stadium Inaugural Season Collectors CAN"; "Louisville City"; "Lou City Kolsch Style Ale"; "Light[,] Clean[,] Crisp".
I Crack!ed open the vent on this cool-looking CAN that will be going to Jeff Lebo for his CANlection after I am finished with it. Once CANpleted, it was time for a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It had a tough time mustering up much more than a finger of foamy. soapy, bone-white head that quickly dissipated into wisps. Color was an oh-so-faintly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5) & I might have attributed it to a chill haze except that other reviewers also noted it. 8=( Nose had a grainy maltiness, like there was more than just malted barley in the grain bill, perhaps wheat, along with a grape-y vinousness. Hmm. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, about on-par for the style, but nothing to get excited about. The taste was just a bit too sweet for my taste, lacking the "... spicy, herbal Noble hop bitterness ..." mentioned in this site's Style Guide. In fact, I really did not get much bitterness at all. It remained malty throughout, even more so than what the nose had led me to expect. I found myself craving a pretzel to offset some of the sweetness with its saltiness. That worked! Mmm. Finish was semi-sweet, not overly sweet, but still not my cuppa tea. It reminded me of the kind of beer that I would like to drink while watching sports, either in-person or on TV, with some salty snax, like pretzels, popcorn or peanuts or any CANbination thereof. Hmm. YMMV.

12 ounce can, born on date 04/28/20 stamped on the bottom side of the can. Thanks to my buddy Denis for this! Served in stange style glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with not quite an inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like bready/grainy malt and a general fruity aroma. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also a honey like flavor noticeable, does have a sweet finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was an enjoyable enough brew, wouldn't mind drinking it again in the future!

12oz can "BORN ON 04/29/20" (a month old) poured into a stange glass at fridge temp 5% ABV. The beer pours bright, gold tinted, light amber with nearly white head. The head recedes to a fat ring and leaves a complete lacing on the glass. The aroma is faint with grain and very light stone fruit. The taste is semisweet light malt with a light stone fruit character, and unfortunately, persistant diacetyl with a moderate bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with just less than medium carbonation and a somewhat undry finish. Overall, ok. They get points for not adding honey, tropical fruit or any other nonsense, but the lingering oily, mildly bitter off flavor & feel ruin what could have been very good.
