Made specifically for the Parlor Pizza franchise, Falls City looks to the classic pairing of beer and pizza and recognizes that the West Coast IPA is perfect for most of those pies.
Light copper and near-brilliantly clear Parlor IPA shows up bubbly and froth. As that classic scent of citrus and pine wraps in a sweet scent of caramel, the taste opens with a similar sweetness of caramel, toast and nuttiness in an almost granola-like character.
As the bubbles carry away the bulk of sweetness, the hops step in with a taste of pink grapefruit, orange peel and a hint of pineapple for a full spectrum of fruity hops. Trending dry, drinkable and refreshing, this “beginners” IPA is also well suited for the well initiated hop heads right down to its piney, pithy and resinous bitter finish.
Medium bodied but trending drier and lighter, the session is refreshing, crisp and clean for the more bitter west-coast style, perfectly suited for pizza pairing and conversation without fuss or complication.
