Very glad that O'Connor put this together. Barrel aging does great things for dark beers, and this is no exception.

Poured a black body with minimal tan head and minor lace ring. Has an aroma that is mild chocolate with hints of roasted malts and even lactic/milk qualities (also maybe bread and butterscotch). Smooth, medium body, the wood along with possible milky qualities make it real smooth, almost slick, has chocolate sweetness along with notes of vanilla and booze. Finishes dry with roasted malts but unfortunately at times has a little bit of a sour milk vibe.
