Poured on tap, the beer is a dark, creamy black color8ng, with a clingy, foamy, tan colored head. Aromas of heavily roasted coffee, subtle notes of caramel and toffee highlight, and tangy cream. Very balanced aromas. Flavors are smooth and rich forward, with a solid blend of bitter roasted coffee and tangy sweet cream, with chocolate highlights, earthy tones, and hints of smoke. Very balanced and rich, on a smooth, creamy body. The aftertaste is richly roasted and coffee bitter, lingering through the smooth, creamy, slow finish. Good beer.
