Not sure how this is called a "Scotch Ale" by the brewery but to each his/her own.
Poured a golden orange body with minimal head and lace. There are bits of bread and caramel malt but mostly the aroma comes across as grainy/bitter. Fuller-bodied beer with a dry, bitter, grainy hop taste with some herbal qualities and then a more sticky than sweet caramel malt presence in the background. Dry, bitter finish does little to help make this an easy drinking beer.
