The stamp on the bottom of the can is off-centered to the point where it hit the lip. It looks like it says 04 for the month and 17 for the year.

Appearance: The body is a light straw color with a lot of haze making it nearly opaque. The pure white head is short and a bit fluffy.

Aroma: It has this strong fruity aroma which smells of tart cherries, pomegranate, and strawberries. The can says it is "passion fruit-infused" but it has a lot of fruit aroma.

Taste: Up front there is the tart, slightly sour, character with a bit of a cherry flavor with some lemon and lime. The middle carries on a strong tart cherry flavor. The finish has a bit of a pineapple cake flavor. It has some good flavors but it is also all over the place here. The aftertaste has a bit of a cherry aspirin flavor mixed with some more cake flavor and this odd sour character. The finish is a bit grassy too. I don't think anyone would ever call this beer boring.

Mouthfeel: Sourness and tartness pop up at different times while drinking the beer and they act like speed bumps while trying to enjoy the beer. It has a lighter body that is a bit chewy and finishes with a coating texture on the palate.

Overall: It's an odd beer because, after drinking it, I don't think that I would drink it again but at the same time the more I drink it the more merit I give the beer. I think if I had to pick a single thing that this reminds me of it would be a piece of yellow cake with a pineapple slice on top and a cherry in the middle. I think the last time I had pineapple upside down cake was in elementary school. It didn't particularly remind me of passion fruit despite being brewed with it. Although I probably wouldn't buy it again I would still recommend it as a curio. If you are a fruit beer lover I would highly recommend it.
