A very good summer thirst quencher from O'Connor. Bought a 6 pack of 12 oz. bottles at Harris Teeter supermarket in Chesapeake VA. Poured into an Aventinus Weizen glass, a straw yellow, dense, hazy color with a small white fizzy head and thin patterns of lacing on the glass. The head fades pretty fast to just a covering of the top of the glass. The lacing lasts a long time. A nice looking beer!!!! Aroma has it all!!!! The tropical fruit is out front with the orange and pineapple the most prominent. By the time you are finishing up, the guava is much stronger. Flavor features all of the fruit, but the salt presence is strong (as it should be in a Gose) and the wheat bitterness and sourness/lactic acid are quite prominent as well. Nice balance between the sweet and tart fruit and the sourness. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing. The fruit, sourness, salt and wheat are all featured in their own way. Carbonation is good. A great candidate for summertime swilling!!!! The flavors do not get tiresome!!!! If it is ever safe to go to bars again, this could be a "go-to" summer session beer.
