A: pours like murky black oil. A creamy dark tan head on top, that rapidly disappears.
S: vanilla, cinnamon, oak, and Turkish coffee.
T: touch and malty, with a strong cinnamon now, followed by coffee, vanilla, and oak. Nice roasty Stout.
M: medium thick, with moderate carbonation, slightly creamy feel.
O: overall I'm getting more cinnamon than nothing, and that makes me a little sad, but the rest of the beer has me pretty happy.

From the bottom of the can: "11/14/2019 09:14"
Appearance: The body is black and it has a short creamy-textured brown head with some larger bubbles that migrate around the glass as carbonation moves them. It slowly fades out to a thick frothy ring with islands of various bubble sizes. Spotty lacing.
Aroma: A strong cinnamon aroma comes through, which is nice.
Taste: It tastes like cinnamon all the way through. There is a bit of a toasted bread flavor giving the whole beer a bit of a french toast flavor. While drinking the beer for a while, a bit of coffee flavor comes in the aftertaste long after the beer has faded. It isn't noticeable at first, but given a long rest between sips it will appear.
Mouthfeel: It is full bodied and smooth with a light bit of heat from the cinnamon and just a light toasted bitterness.
Overall: The can states that this is "Bourbon Barrel-Aged with Madagascar Vanilla & Ceylon Cinnamon" and calls it an "Imperial Turkish Coffee Stout." While the beer does tastes and smell a lot like cinnamon, it has no bourbon or barrel character. The vanilla and coffee characters seem to be masked behind a large amount of cinnamon, to the point where vanilla doesn't show up at all and coffee only appears after a long aftertaste. As a whole the beer is very enjoyable but it is lacking in the advertised flavors. I would drink it again but I wouldn't buy it based on how it is advertised, and my recommendation goes the same way.
