Another candidate for an IPA - NE Imperial style!!!!. Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass. medium size foamy white head with good retention and some lacing. The color was hazy and somewhere between a straw yellow and khaki. Aroma and taste are fairly subdued. There is a bit of grapefruit and tropical fruit here and some very mild soft bitterness. Mouthfeel is rich enough but not a lot going on. O'Connor has produced many outstanding beers. El Guapo is established in the Hampton Roads area as a "go to" brew in many restaurants. Vol 6 is nowhere near O'Connor's best.
