I don't see any date listed on the can.
Appearance: The body is a dark orange color with a hint of brown. It is very hazy and a bit murky, but dark shadows are visible through it. It has a medium-sized white head that has a fluffy texture. It has very good retention and lacing.
Aroma: Alcohol aroma comes through at first. It has a bit of a Pine-sol character. There is a light bit of crushed grain scent that is behind the Pine-sol. It smells a bit like hand soap too.
Taste: A pine and crushed grain flavor comes through at the front of the tongue. Towards the middle of the mouth there are notes of coffee and toasted bread. The back of the palate is more pine with a hint of lemon. The aftertaste is bitter pine and lime zest.
Mouthfeel: It is medium-light in body with just a slight resinous texture. Hop bitterness is good, and has a medium-high presence. Carbonation feels good.
Overall: It is an alright beer but the grain notes seem to overshadow the pine-like hop characters. The can says "WEST COAST DIPA" but it doesn't quite drink like one. The beer is a bit muddled and doesn't drink quite clean, but the high bitterness helps steer the beer in a positive direction and make it more enjoyable. I probably wouldn't buy it again but I might grab it on tap with some food. It might be worth putting in a mix-a-six but I wouldn't buy a full six-pack box.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
