Appearance: Clear, deep amber color, with a moderate off-white head, scattered, patchy lacing, and slight carbonation.
Aroma: The aroma is remarkably complex and appealing, with a spicy juicy-fruit gum aroma, grapefruit rind, and an exotic spicy note.
Taste: Tea-like at the open, with a slightly toasty and caramel malt presence. The malt profile is quite solid and carries throughout the taste. Midway through the taste a strong grapefruit hop presence appears, and carries well past the close of the taste.
Mouth feel: Full and pleasant, with slight soft carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: This beer expresses remarkable complexity for its style. May you be fortunate enough to try it. My thanks to my friend and fellow BA HardTarget for sharing this excellent ale.

The Bronze, brewed at Lovejoys. Promo sheet listed OG 1.056, FG 1.014, 35 IBUs, 5.75% abv. East Kent Goldings and Cascade hops, a fair dose of crystal malt and using Wyeast 1968. There was more information, but I ran out of room for notes.
Aroma: Very light malt, some wood tones, and a fair whiff of hops
Appearance: Clear orange/bronze with a finger of nice creamy tan that left tidemarks.
Flavor: Firm hops, but very mild over all.
Mouthfeel: Soft creamy texture, low carbonation, nice cask conditioned level.
Overall Impression: Very easy drinking, good flavor, great on the eyes. I picked up a growler for later I was so impressed. Good stuff!
