Copenhagen 28/2 2021. 33 cl bottle from Den Belgiske Ølbutik, Jyllingevej, Vanløse. Black label with the logo of Wolf in gold and the name of the beer.
Pours opaque, murky golden yellow with brown clumps of yeast whirling about. Big fluffy white head. Settles as 0,5 m thick, frothy, fluffy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the sides of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a yeasty basement scent. Sweet pale malts. Sweet pear and sugr. Citrus. Humid cellar. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a notable bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry with a light boozy touch.
Not a big fan of their new name - but they certainly can brew a yeasty Strong Ale.

De Cervezasespeciales. En copa Grimbergben. 15 meses pasada. Perfil tipico del estilo con notas a fruta confitada y alcohol, aunque algo aburrida. No aporta nada

Hazy dark blonde colour, nice head; in the nose there is fruit, banana, peach, peppery notes, some other spices. In the taste the fruit is still there as are the peppery notes but also a lot of alcohol. A bit flat, rather thin, no as dry as you would expect. Rather disappointed in this one.
