Color is that of pure spun gold, beneath a prodigious, delicate white head that fills half the glass, before slowly, softly crumbling, leaving lace.
Nose: sparkling and lively, lemon zest and a hint of spice, distinctive and just a little complex.
Nice hoppy dance on the tongue, but any previous promise leaves off here, for the body is small, the texture is thin, and I find this weizen lacking a lot. Doesn't give the mouth and tongue anything to work with...
Nonetheless, it goes down smooth and light, does it's job in that regard, and I'm yearning for a lawn to mow.
Thanks to UncleJimbo for this sample!

Ok first of the beer so kindly sent by "Uncle Jimbo"
Comes in an amber coloured bottle (12oz) with a nice 1930s almost Bauhaus type simplistic label.
Nice enough appearance to this wheat..hazy straw coloured with an absolutly massive frothy pure white head.
Smell is very strong and very sour ..I like this in a wheat..good stuff.
taste though while nice is rather onbe dimensional..the sour ness..its not bad though..finishes fast..with little after taste.
Pretty nice on the tongue.
Quite drinkable ..a nice American hefe

12 oz amber bottle
This wheat ale poured a hazy, light yellow color, with HUGE (and I mean huge), thick, white foam that left good lacing on the glass. The smell tickled the nose with citrus, wheat, and very light fruity esters (mild banana and grapes). The smell was light but consistent to the bottom of the glass. The taste was wheat and a trace of yeast and fruit. A rather thin flavor. The mouthfeel was clean and crisp with modest carbonation, but the feel was thin and weak. The drinkability was OK, and I can see that this light wheat beer would be refreshing in the summer.

Slightly hazy/cloudy orange color with a decent off white head that fades too quickly. Good aromas of yeast with some slightly estery content of banana is also there. The flavor starts off slightly wheaty and some nice lighter hops are also present. The brew has a somewhat off lingering flavor that I can't quite put my finger on. Crisp and refreshing, this brew loses some drinkability points for the off flavor. I would like to try this again and will have to do so next time I am home and closer to the source. Thanks to Bierman9 for the sample.

Big lilywhite head with long retention. Clean aroma, fresh hops. Flavor and body are a bit thin, with a mix of grass and hay and a substantial wheaty base. Balanced by substantial hop bitterness
