Poured a light caramel color with a slightly peach colored head. It has an appetizing sugary and hoppy smell. This is a perfect beer for the fall. The taste is best described as being dry and leafy. Strange but true, it is clear this beer has autumn written all over it. It finishes with a dry wood taste. An easily drinkable beer, I'll take it.

Color is darker than most O-Fests, yet it is quite attractive. It is a dark copper hue, with some garnet thrown in; head was very short and thin, with a bit of lacing left. I found the nose quite pleasant - nice malty sweetness with some caramel undertones. Body came in at medium on the scale, and it felt fairly smooth on the tongue. Didn't find the taste quite as good as the nose suggested. There was decent malt there, but it had a bit more of a hoppy lean to it than Fests usually do. And the lingering aftertaste has a somewhat corn-like hint to it. Still, a fairly respectable offering from a good local Brewer.
