Not sure where to go with this bier.... Says honey-almond, but.... Well, medium copper color, a tad cloudy, with no head or lace. Nose was kind of sweet, and also fruity. I definitely picked up banana there, like a hefe-weizen. Ok as far as smoothness/body are concerned. Flavor has that banana touch once more, after a semi-sweet start. Ends on the dry side. I'd have one now or then, but not more than 1 or 2 at a sitting...

Presentation: 12 oz brown long neck with a blurb about the beer on the label, no freshness date.
Appearance: Glowing orange amber hue, frothy white head hold two fingers deep for a while.
Smell: Nutty almond with undertones of earth, malt sweetness with a hint of honey.
Taste: Moderate body, smooth and slick mouth feel and a light carbonation show off a well structured beer. Mild hop bitterness, sweetness brings this beer along. Light toasted flavours perhaps from the almonds though a bit of breadiness also. Touch of astringent grain towards the end with a lingering residual sweetness.
Notes: Easy to drink, a pleasure on the palate and a good change up to stray away from the run of the mill ales out there.

Hazy honey-amber beer in colour. Nice fluffy white foam head, with good retention. Strong honey aromas, nutty, musty/grain ... an unusual blend of aromatics, but not to my liking.
Not overly smooth, a bit gland triggering with a semi-sharp leafy bitterness. Toasted almonds come forward with a raw-ish touch of honey flavour and a modest amount of malt sweetness. I picked up quite a few tannins and musty flavours which was a big let down. Finish was pretty rough as a result.
I didn't like this beer at all. Very homebrew-ish in character and there's simply too many distinct flavours clashing in this beer, making for one very confused and odd beer.
Honey and almonds sounds great for a granola bar, but not a beer.
