Bottle courtesy of BeerMountie, thanks Tony! Dark amber pour with a thin and inactive white ring. Grainy aromas masked by an off caramel candy odor. Sweet grain and bread flavours are whirled about with diluteds hops and malt. Thin, watery finish. Thanks Tony!

Packaged July 3, reviewed within a week.
A watered-down version of their honey brown.
A: Golden-yellow, white head, no retention, slight lace.
S: Honey & biscuity malt.
T: Honey & biscuity malt, slight sweetness, slight sulfury mineral, good spicing.
M: Light body, a little over carbonated, dry finish.
D: An easy drinker, but no the least bit enticing.

Poured a light gold-brown with a tannish head that gave the short wave goodbye.
The aroma is of slight apple, celery and hops. A touch of caramel. Not much there at all to smell.
Mouthfeel is crisp, but watery. Average carbonation.
Taste is mostly citrus with a bit of the usual Quidi Vidi malt. The citrus is nice to a point, but making this a light beer was a bad idea. The whole gets lost and comes off more as coloured water. Unfortunately, this is a bland and uninspired Honey Brown. It's also, I fear, Quidi Vidi's worst to this point.

Honey Brown Light poured out a medium brown/dark red colour with a head about 3 cm high but it droped back to nothing in a minute with no lace. The nose was a slight malt (?) and then nothing. Mouthfeel was a thin tasting carbonated drink - at times with an oily feel. It went down with no problem as there was no honey, no brown, no light.
