Amber color with a thick beige head with medium retention.
Predominant aroma with notes of passion fruit, grapefruit, papaya, distant caramel and mild pine.
Flavor with notes of pine, papaya, some caramel malt, spices, grapefruit, resin, toasted malts, apple juice, some earthiness and lemon. Dry and bitter aftertaste. Interestingly, it does not feel three times bitter than their "Golden Ale" (really an APA), but its 53 IBUs feels right.
Light to medium body with mild carbonation.
Decent American IPA (with some English accent), not complex, but with the right flavors, with herbal-pine and grapefruit predominating.
