Tight sandy cap over dark amber. 4
Cherry and toffee nose. 3.75
Big fruit jam, some sherry/paper oxidation, Bananas Foster, sultana, and some orange rind. 3.5
Butterscotch end and clovey linger.
Medium, chewy, round. 3.75
No hops! And some off flavours. Dried fruit, so I guess it lines up as a more English Barleywine then American, but this just isn’t a great beer no matter where it’s from. 3.5
