Pours jet black with a light tan head. In the aroma, orange citrus hops and a caramel like malt. In the taste, a fresh pine hop burn, and a citrus sweetness. A nice hop bite and a medium bodied mouthfeel, with a dryer mix of orange citrus and a minty burn. Lots of hops in this mix, a strange mix, but it works well.

Black as night. Coated-top of tan foam. Looka creamy.
Little pine, some earth, and a lotta roast. Dark chocolate, burnt notes, herbals, chicory... good nose.
Super bitter, roasty, and charred. Bitter cocoa notes, leafy hops, booze. Lots of burnt grain. Almost astringently bitter. Lack of fruitiness. Very earthy, in fact. Spicy finish.
Medium body with a touch of creaminess. Carbonation is standard for a tuned-up Black IPA.
Good for a Black IPA. Belgian? Not so sure. Still, different and enjoyably so.

Full Pint : None More Black IPA
LOOK: Labled as a black Belgian IPA. Dark as night, with an off white, pillowy foam.
SMELL: Belgian yeast and some roast. Flowery hops show up as well.
TASTE: Peppery Belgian yeast and floral hops. The roast takes a back seat to the expressive spicy yeast and hop notes. Mild earthy tartness, well rounded flavor. Bitterness is moderate, and there's some grassy notes to the hops.
FEEL: Full bodied and well carbonated. Slightly dry in the finish.
OVERALL: A good beer from the Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week collaboration brews. This was an interesting style, and came out like a hoppy black saison.
