Poured from 440ml can, 4.5 ABV. First pumpkin ale to start the Halloween season! Looks great, orange amber, nice frothy cap. Subtle enough pumpkin and spice , taste follows stronger with a nice dry finish. Spooky good.

look: one finger bubbly white head with decent retention, beer is a clear dark amber copper colour, with good levels of carbonation rising up the beer.
smell: this smell great, lot of cinnamon, some apple, orange, berries, pumpkin of course. light spiced character to it, some oaky wooden aroma, hint of vanilla, just screams autumn.
taste: that’s really nice, way more pumpkin to taste than on the nose, has lots of cinnamon spice, lots of sweet fruit flavour, apple, orange, cherry, banana, earthy, oaky, also has a nice bready caramel malt base, bit of fudge, only lightly bitter on the finish with pumpkin flavours lingering, really cool.
feel: light bodied, medium carbonation, bit thin, very smooth and drinkable.
overall: tastes like autumn, really cool beer, my first of the style, a style i will now have to try more of, nice beer.

Beer poured a clear orange/copper.
The aroma was light with a light pumpkin, with heavier notes of ginger, cinnamon, and other spices.
The taste was a clean, fresh pumpkin and, balanced well with tastes of ginger, cinnamon, and underlying malt. There was a slight bitterness at the end.
Very crisp and refreshing when cold.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

Autumn 2014 edition, bottled, from Redmonds.
Poured into American pint.
Reduced to 4.5% this year, and made with pumpkins grown by the brewery in Kildare.
Colour was dark orange, with an Overwhelming sweet/bordering on sickly nose.
Limited carbonation, which plays against the beer in my opinion.
Reasonable example of a style which would never be my favourite, but glad I didn't buy 6!
Would recommend trying as it is (as far as I know) Irelands only pumpkin ale.

Had out of the cask at Against The Grain in Dublin.
Served at the perfect temperature. Best Pumpkin Beer I have had.
Tasted like like liquid pumpkin pie, perfect balance of pumpkin gourd flavor, and spices. Honestly barely tasted like beer.
Great to have such a strong flavored well made beer with a low abv.
Great, easy beer.
