440ml Can from The Wine Company. Belfast (£3):
Hazy but bright copper colours with a fluffy looking, thumb-sized head that's a creamy white with golden tinges & Great retention, sitting quite foamy on the surface. It's malty on the nose with a pine hop base & some caramel sweetness coming through before citrus, faint spice & floral notes see things out. Light pine hops & citrus open the taste with some floral touches before the caramel sweetness & biscuit malts come through. It's quite hoppy without being overdone, while the body is a medium to full one that was sweeter & smoother than expected. The balance is a pleasant one & it's nearer to an American pale ale at times but it goes down well but could have been a lot better.

Had on tap. This was a very aromatic hoppy ipa. Nice work using the rye malt as a base, allowing the hop spice to really flourish in the smell. The taste is a little thin and flowery, could use some more citrus or pine to balance more, and body is thin as well. Still, a nice hoppy beer in Ireland
