On draught at Black Sheep, Dublin.

Chocolate-leather brown with steady, creamy beige head.
Fresh hop leaf, orange skin, skunk, and mango nose - complex and big.
Slight bready malts, then lemon-lime, light pine, and resin hops.
Green Starburst finish and tight lemon twist linger.
Thin, oily, creamy.

No black notes at all - Carafa III? - so very much in the "IPA + color" school of American Blacks. Would need a bit more body before it went permanent (the purpose of pilots, no?) and the hops are there but way too light.

CD-APA?
