Pint - Against The Grain - Camden Street - Dublin - 03 May
Well priced (for Dublin) at 6 euro for 500ml of 6.6%+ beer, especially as tasty as this.
Hints of fruit and Bitter with a lovely mouthfeel, this is the way I like my IPAs,. A bit of fruit would put it over the top.
Some have said they tasted the Oatmeal, but I certainly didn't. Despite extensive inventory, I was glad to have two pints of t his beer.
Another great offering from Galway Bay.

Poured a hazy, orange-ish colour.
Smelled sweet from cereal matls and hoppy.
Tasted of cascade hops with a bit of bitterness, but mellow bitterness. Strong flavours, but not too intense.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

Look: pours a hazy orange with a thick inch of head.
Smell: hops. Pine and resin. No sense of oatmeal
Taste: front of the taste follows the nose. As the beer sits in the mouth and in the back of the the taste, the oatmeal comes through. Odd mix, but not a bad one
Feel: the greatest strength of the beer. Feels creamy and light. Very drinkable but the beer doesn't feel thin either
Overall: interesting mix that I enjoyed, would order another
