Champagne blonde with loose white froth that goes fast. 3.75
Piquant lemon acid sourness, like sorbet, and cider vinegar. Pleasant. 4
Thread of wheat, squeeze of grapefruit, a hit of horse blanket, then kiwi, cress, and lime hops. 4
Some flowers and a lacto smooth-fizz, like lemon powdered drink, to end and vaguely rubbery linger.
Crisp, light, clean, creamy. 4
Lacto sour with US Hops Citra, Amarillo and Cascade.
Refreshing - almost a radler effect. Sour draws the greenness out of citrusy hops. Not as hoppy as promised, but not as sour, either. Well-constructed with a lightness of touch.

Bottle purchased at Oslo Bar in Galway. Poured a slightly hazy yellow colour. Bright aromas of sweet light malts, citrus hops and slight fruity lychee. Champagne-velvet carbonation. Very smooth and slightly sweet, with underlying floral hops and a tart sour finish. Lingering lychee notes on palate.
This is a class beer and almost like a champagne. Delicious, delicate and light but flavourful.
Would I buy this beer again? Definitely.

500ml bottle bought from McHughs, Dublin
Poured a nice pale gold colour with a very slight haze... Slightly off white head pours loose and frothy and faded fairly quickly to almost nothing. Quite a lot of carbonation rushes to the surface...
Aroma - Sour with a slight sweetness just coming through, light citrusy hops, sour apples, yeasty, sherbet, herbal notes, some grapefruit, acidic, light dry cider hints, faint floral honey traces, peppery, faint almond nuttiness, the slightest hint of toasted bread..
Taste - Nice balance of sourness mixed with citrusy fruits (grapefruit, lime, lemons), definite sour apple / cider notes, slight saltiness, natural yoghurt, light grassy hops, quite creamy, herbal / perfume notes, musty, some faint nuttiness, a little toasted bread...
Feel - Starts pretty sharp and dry but then smooths out quite quickly... light body. Very refreshing and drinkable... probably needs to be chilled slightly before drinking...
Overall - An excellent well balanced Sour ale and another fine brew from Galway Bay. Very refreshing and definitely worth a try if you can get it...
