Pours a very dark, almost black colour. This one has a big bold hoppy nose; funky, spicy and citrusy hops, toasty, and bitter, and a little sweet. Tastes just like it smells... big hop flavours throughout, predominately oily and bitter profile featuring citrusy wet hops, almost soapy in mouthfeel. A zing of bitter toasted malt sits underneath and peaks out towards the end. Lingering mild toastiness and hoppiness lingers on, slightly numbingly. Very dry finish lifts the flavour palate. A bold but balanced black IPA.
