look: well the thing poured all head at first, seems to be massively carbonated, golden to amber coloured beer with lots of rushing carbonation within.
smell: smells lovely, peach all the way, quite tart, other fruit flavours there too, apricot, apricot jam, gooseberry, some biscuity malt, maybe some vanilla, most intriguing.
taste: definitely a nice sour, but those wild sour flavours totally dominate the taste, the fruit flavours subside a bit, still plenty of peach, gooseberry, really quite bready from the malt, white bread flavours linger after the finish, real tart, funky, lingering sourness, a fun beer.
feel: light to medium bodied, highly carbonated, quite drinkable for a sour, pretty crisp
overall: a fun sour ale from one of the great irish breweries, maybe a little too funk forward for my liking, but still most pleasant.
