440ml Can from Dr:nk, Belfast (£4.50):
Really deep & dark mahogany that borders on black, with an opaque body & a thin, foamy beige head that covers the majority of the surface, turning slightly patchy at one side. The nose opens with subdued pine hops, dark malts, chocolate & light smoked notes right at the end. The taste is slightly darker with more smoked flavours & a coffee bitterness with some pine hops in there too along with touches of citrus. The beer is medium, pushing towards full bodied with light to moderate carbonation with a dark, almost roasted malt bitterness to finish.
