Copenhagen 15/3 2022. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. White can with a circle of red and yellow.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue and a tight big off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with toasted notes. Dark, toasted malts, nuts and caramel. Hints of toffee and brown sugar.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and ti going texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is crisp and semi-dry.
Dark yet light and not too sweet Dunkel Tmavý.

Served from the can in a shaker pint glass.
Pours a clear deep hickory topped by a finger of khaki foam. The nose comprises mild rye bread, light caramel, light candied orange peel, grass, and a touch of walnut. The taste brings in more of the same, the walnut slightly stronger, but it melds well with everything else, so no issues there. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluidly smooth feel. A pretty nice Czech dark, indeed.
