Here is Ostara Stout, our take on the concept of ‘Dublin Stout’. Brewed to be complex but quaffable. We took some of our imperial stout tricks and adapted them to a lower abv base recipe. The result has layered malts with some lovely soft chocolate notes finished with a nice hop zing to help clean the palate. Sláinte

Copenhagen 12/4 2026. 33 cl can from Den Gamle Købmand, Skt. Annæ Plads, Kbh. K. Swimming whales on the can.
Pours opaque dark brow with a small, light beige head. A bt bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma s medium intense with a sweet and a bit sugary odor of roasted malts mingling with sourish notes. Toasted bread, caramel and toffee. A hot of brown sugar. Dark chocolate.
Medium strong carbonation. The, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is tarty bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sem-dry.
Fine tart specimen.

Draught (nitro) - Pours a lovely pint with 2 finger creamy tan head. Muted chocolate notes on the nose. Taste-wise, stronger chocolate notes evident, with a hint of caramel and roasted coffee. Very solid pint of stout.
