Had on-tap at The Oslo Microbrewery Bar in Salthill, Galway, Ireland.

A- Standard lager color with a pretty tight head.

S- Had a light fruit tone behind the hop smell.

T- It had a nice malt taste, with an average hoppy taste as well. As with the smell there was a light fruit taste.

M- It had medium carbonation

D- The finish was semi-smooth, but a tad watery. Overall a nice micro lager that I would have again if I came across it.

Served on draught at the Salthouse pub in Galway into a Bay Brewery pint glass. Called a lager to aid familiarity to Irish clientele, who generally aren't as informed about microbreweries as some other cultures, though thankfully our scene is improving (check out Trouble Brewing). Beeradvocate's categorization scheme is inadequate, especially for handling an Irish Lager, but Irish Pale Lager is certainly closest.

A: Quarter-finger head of fair cream. Hazy dark copper colour. Laughable retention.

Sm: Very light clean barley and malt.

T: Clean open into a body of lovely cream with a very nice barley and hop balance. Finish is comprised of residual cream. Very freshing. Built brilliantly for the style; veru bold and complex. None of that one-note lager garbage here.

Mf: Finally a lager that isn't too smooth! A bit too wet but the cream compensates. A bit heavier than other lagers but much better.

Dr: Fairly priced for the quality. If you're tired of shite macros but still want a lager, this pint is your only man. Compare to Guinness' Harp to see what you think.
